Thanks for coming to show your support for our project! Jefferson County is home to vibrant neighborhoods, beautiful open spaces and economic opportunities. Shadow Mountain Bike Park is a can’t miss opportunity to provide safe and fun outdoor recreation opportunities for families and individuals, protect our natural resources and help local small businesses thrive. That’s why thousands of community members have signed on to support SMBP. Below is a link to sign a petition in support of the park, the more signatures the better! Below you’ll find links to email your county commissioner telling them why you support the project. These are the people that will be making the final decision on whether to approve the project, so it’s really important that they hear from you about why Shadow Mountain Bike Park will be great for Jefferson County. We have pre-populated email templates for your commissioner, but feel free to add your own language or draft a completely custom message.
If you copy the commissioners’ emails make sure to include dmonke@co.jefferson.co.us on copy. This will insure that the county planning department receives your comment and logs it as part of our case file.
