Thanks for coming to show your support for our project! Great timing on visiting our site because Shadow Mountain Bike Park is headed to public hearings with Jefferson County! The hearings will be separated into two rounds:
1: Planning Commission night 1: Wednesday, September 11th @ 6:15 PM
Planning Commission night 2: Thursday, September 12th @ 5:15 PM
2: Board of County Commissioners October 1st @ 9:00 a.m
Location: 100 Jefferson County Pkwy, Golden, CO 80401
All hearings will also be virtual so you can join virtually. The links to the meetings will be posted on JeffCo’s website here: https://www.jeffco.us/Calendar.aspx?EID=12277

An easy and helpful way to show support whether you are planning to speak or can’t attend our hearings is to write an email to our Case Manager and the County Commissioners expressing your support. Information on how to do that is below!

Email your support below:
Below you’ll find links to email your county commissioner telling them why you support the project. These are the people that will be making the final decision on whether to approve the project, so it’s really important that they hear from you about why Shadow Mountain Bike Park will be great for Jefferson County. We have pre-populated email templates for your commissioner, but feel free to add your own language or draft a completely custom message.
If you copy the commissioners’ emails make sure to also include dmonke@co.jefferson.co.us in the cc (copy him on the email).
This will ensure that the county planning department receives your comment and logs it as part of our case file.
